Have you watched a video of people “surviving” in exotic places, but felt like it was impossible for you? Do you feel discouraged after looking online and seeing all these people taking island adventures and feel like you can not afford those? Have you looked up snorkeling or underwater adventures and felt frustrated you need to pay thousands of dollars and fly somewhere? Do you hunt, enjoy water and want to expand your harvesting experience? Maybe you have spearfished for many years and did not realize you can spearfish freshwater. Perhaps you love the water and snorkeling and want to try to do your own catch-and-cooks. Then, this is where you want to be.
Over 25 years ago, I (Asa's Dad) started spearfishing in the backwoods of Lewistown, MT. I was a 12-year-old boy with few resources and no ocean access, but I still wanted to spearfish.
Living in Lewistown, MT, I saw local kids build these pole spears with broom handles to spearfish in the creek. It was simple and fun to learn. Now, I have almost 30 years of spearfishing experience. I am a professional scuba diver and realized the simplest and most cost-effective way to spear a fish underwater. It so easy, a 9 year old can do it.
Ask my son Asa. He speared his first fish when he was 9. He has been spearfishing from a young age. In the spirit of sharing our experience and seeing anyone anywhere spearfish, we decided to start Simplified Spearfishing to share with communities the simplest way to start spearfishing in the world!
You can buy The World's Simplest Spearfishing Training Guide for 1 dollar or more. Asa's guide is the first-of-its-kind e-training book with video links, a four-week training program for anyone anywhere to spear a fish with little investment. Asa is asking you to join him to enjoy the wonderful world of spearfishing.
